Lileigh C. "Keva" Brown
In February 1999, I came to UCH after surviving a difficult time in my life. When I entered the sanctuary, I saw an Earth flag hanging there and knew I was home. My eldest daughter, Samm, was only 4 when we first starting attending, and she grew up in the church. I now attend church with my husband, Bill and our youngest daughter, Rhyan. Samm is now a nurse and lives in Virginia with her husband and daughter.
I have served on several committees, including the Sunday Service Committee and the RE Committee, served as co-chair of the Auction Committee, taught RE, taught adult OWL, sing in the choir, and currently chair the Worship Team. I had the honor of helping to establish Clover Grove pagan group and was there when QueenSpirit was born. I enjoy serving as Lay Liturgist and speaking as a sermonator on occasion. UCH has provided me with a supportive environment where I can be spiritual in my own way through service and music ministry.
I live with my family in Hummelstown on a farmette, where we have lots of creatures to keep us busy, including cats, dogs, fish, sheep and chickens. We spend most of our free time on church activities and enjoy sharing music together. I recently learned how to crochet, and I’m actively learning American Sign Language (ASL), both of which I consider to be hobbies with purpose.
I look forward to serving as a Trustee for the next three years during a time of transition at UCH.
